A Brief History:

O&P Custom was founded by Darren R. Davis CP on April 6th, 2001 in the great city of Las Vegas, Nevada.  From the start, it has been OPC’s mission to provide prompt quality products and services to those individuals who have orthopedic needs.  It is our pledge to make orthotics and prosthetics available to everyone regardless of circumstance. No matter how simple or complex the patient’s needs are and no matter what a person’s  financial conditions may be, O&P Custom will work with each individual. Our Humble Beginnings O&P Custom was started from a one bedroom apartment in down town Las Vegas as a part time venture.  Mr. Davis held a full-time job in the field and was able work in-home health with patients, during the evenings and on the week ends.  Seven months later OPC was relocated to its current home address on Pagosa Way.  For three years the products of OPC were custom fabricated in this small backyard laboratory, which his supportive wife has named, “the shed.” Mobil Laboratory: In January of 2004, a long-time dream was realized as O&P Custom purchased a “CAT Bus” and developed the first O&P mobile laboratory known to Southern Nevada. It was duly named “Leg Force One.” Our Mobil Lab is the only one of its kind in the Southern Nevada area. A Leap of Faith: In April of 2004 Darren Davis, CP, took a leap of faith, quit his full time job to put his undivided time and attention into the company.  In January of 2005, O&P Custom became a corporation and experienced tremendous growth which is expected to continue. Our Previous Facility: In October of 2005 we opened our fully equipped O&P patient care facility to better serve our local clients. We have a prosthetic gym, orthotic fitting rooms, and a complete fabrication laboratory, where all custom items are created in-house. Not only do we fabricate our own devices, other companies send their work to us for Central Fabrication. Research and Development  O&P Custom plays an active role in conducting research and development. From the start, OPC has been applying new innovations to the O&P field. In the coming months, OPC will introduce technological advances to the Greater Las Vegas Area.
